At Fort Mill Church of God, we are delighted to be part of the global church's collective focus on fulfilling the Great Commission outlined in Matthew 28:18-20. FMCOG is actively engaged with the Mission Partners highlighted below, as well as numerous other local, state, and worldwide ministries.
MISSIONS
Local
FMCOG Food Pantry – The Food pantry is open weekly on Tuesdays 9 AM-12 PM. Together with your help, we are providing food for the hungry of Fort Mill and York County. Contact Lil Newton at foodpantry@fmcog.com or (803) 548-2099 for more info on how you can serve.
Palmetto Women’s Center – Palmetto Women’s Center seeks to empower women and families facing unexpected pregnancies in Rock Hill, SC. They provide accurate information, free services, and practical support with a holistic and compassionate approach. Each of their clients receive the care and attention they need, empowering them to make an informed decision for themselves and their future.
Love Life – Love Life is uniting and mobilizing the church to create a culture of love and life that will result in an end to abortion and the orphan crisis.
National
Church of God Home for Children – A haven for hurting children in Mauldin, SC. The South Carolina Church of God Home for Children is committed to providing a wholesome, well-balanced life for every child in their care, and a family structured program that teaches Biblical values, morals, and love.
City of Refuge – City of Refuge is a faith-based environment in the heart of Atlanta, GA that helps individuals and families transition out of crisis. They are a beacon of hope for those that need a place of rescue, courage, food, and education. City of Refuge has been able to help hundreds of those who were in Desperate need of being shown God’s love. In addition to making a regional impact at CR Bruce Deel is leading a nation-wide initiative to strategically and aggressively irradiate sex trafficking in America. We are proud to partner with this ministry of both rescue and rehibition to the most venerable among us.
International
Ecuador - Project M:25 with Bobby and Tamitha Lynch – Bobby and Tamitha lead Project M:25 , an outreach to children and families in a rural area outside of Quito. Project M:25 uses a holistic approach to fight against the damaging effects of poverty in the lives of at-risk children and their families. Through their Give Water Challenge, they are helping to provide clean, safe drinking water for families by installing water filtration systems.
Ministry to Israel – Michael and Gina Utterback – Ministry to Israel has been involved in helping Jews return home from all over the world for the past 30 years. Since their beginning, over 170,000 have been helped by MTI staff. Their support centers across Israel serve as beacons of God’s love for His chosen people.
Tanzania – Prism Ministries with Gina Helms – Prism is a ministry organization under the direction of Gina Helms who has been working in Tanzania since 2007 doing ministry and community development. Gina leads along with Stephen and Ashley Griffin, a variety of ministry and community development projects with a focus on Unreached People Groups.
