Poza Rica Mission
In Poza Rica, Mexico, Obed and Yazmin Herrera lead the ministry of Casa Hogar Alfa y Omega, a children’s home with over 50 children who daily receive hot meals, a warm and safe environment, and the love of Christ. Vida Abundante is a partner church in Poza Rica that ministers to the hurting and forgotten.
In partnership with the Church of God Youth and Discipleship Department, our church takes 2 missions trips per year, in January and July, to visit with the Herreras and their amazing team, to love on the children there, and to minister in the people of Poza Rica. We have partnered with them for the building of a multi-purpose facility and a new boys dormitory. These provide places for them to gather as a family.

Casa Hogar Alfa y Omega
A new multipurpose building was built with upgraded kitchen and dining areas to enjoy fun activities, group games, worship together and ministry outreaches here.
Boys Dormitory
A new dormitory for the boys was finished and dedicated in January 2020 after their old dorm was damaged by earthquakes and condemned.
Children's Outreach
Children’s lives are changed through the love of Christ. We work, pray, serve, listen, give and share the love of Jesus together.
Partnership
Our partnership with Casa Hogar Alfa y Omega is important, coming together with teams from across the USA to minister to the kids and the surrounding communities.
