Next Steps

No matter where you are in life, there is always a next step.

There is a next step for everyone. The Fort Mill Church of God wants to be with you on this journey for whatever that step is.

The Bible

No matter where you are on your journey with the Lord, there is always a next step.  One of the greatest things we have as believers is The Bible. The Bible is the inspired word of God that tells us the truth of who God is. If you want to know more about Him and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step. Just 10 minutes a day can change the rest of your life. The Bible gives hope, encouragement, guidance, and truth. It is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time. The answers to your life’s questions can be found in those pages. There are many tools we can offer you to help you take this next step.

Salvation

Life is hard. We all have struggles to meet family demands, pay the bills, and succeed in our endeavors. We all seek for answers and help to find our purpose. And we all have those deep unanswered questions about life’s meaning. “Why am I here?” “Who am I?” “What happens when I die?” Jesus came to answer those questions and to give us purpose. He is the answer to where we’ll spend eternity. He is the answer to the problems you’re facing today. Jesus gives your life meaning. God, the Creator, has a plan for your life. He loves you and desires your love in return. He knows you can’t do life on your own. He knows it gets difficult. That’s why He sent Jesus. You don’t have to be good enough, clean up your act, or follow a spiritual checklist to know God. All you need to do is make Jesus Lord of your life.

“How do I do that?”

If you are ready to meet Jesus, pray this prayer: “Dear Jesus, I admit that I’m a sinner. I admit that I need a savior. I need your forgiveness. I believe that You lived, died, and rose from the grave so I could be connected to God. I choose you as Lord of my life and commit my life to You. I ask that you cleanse my heart and forgive me for my sinfulness. I turn away from my past and I turn towards You, my future.  Take my life and use it. Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer, please let us know by e-mailing us at curious@fmcog.com! We are happy to welcome you to our family and help you take your next step

Connect Groups

You belong here at Fort Mill Church of God. One of our commitments is to make it easier for you to find others who share your interests. We know that when you connect with people and have fun, you’ll begin to build a family that serves and grows together. We encourage you to join one of our many connect groups that meet on and off campus throughout the week. More information on our current connect group choices is available at the connection center in the lobby.
