Who We Are

We are honored to welcome you here. As a church family, we gather to celebrate God, encourage one another, and spread the love of Christ in a Spirit-filled worship atmosphere.

Regardless of your age or where you may be on your spiritual journey, we are here to connect with you and walk alongside you.

Our Sunday morning worship time is “come as you are,” where we invite you to join us for a relaxed and friendly worship experience. There are many different environments for many different age groups. We have something for everyone, including you!

We meet to offer God our heartfelt worship and connect with Him through prayer, music, and the preached word. There is no better environment for you to grow as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Our hope is that you will be blessed in one of our worship services or connect groups. We have a variety of service times to choose from, including 8:30 and 11:00 am every Sunday.

Mission & Vision

Mission

A place where you can CONNECT with God, with friends and the world.

Vision

To experience life together as we help people CONNECT with God while CONNECTING with friends. Also being mindful of the need for us to remain CONNECTED to the world around us, making an eternal difference in our community and around the world for the Kingdom of God.

Our History

Every Sunday afternoon in the Spring of 1931 prayer meetings and a revival by Reverend M. G. Quinton were held in the front yard of Mrs. Fanny Simmons home at 218 Link Street in Fort Mill. The Church of God organization expanded into South Carolina in 1914, and the Quinton revival was the first Church of God meeting ever held in Fort Mill. The last week of August 1931 a store building, formerly the Tom Porter Grocery Store, was rented on South White Street, and Reverend J. H. Daniels began a revival which lasted four weeks. There were 29 saved, 22 sanctified, and 19 filled with the Holy Spirit. As a result of this revival, the Fort Mill Church of God was organized on Sunday, September 27, 1931 with nineteen members.

From these humble beginnings, we have grown and reached out to impact our community with a message of hope found in Jesus Christ. We believe God desires for us to live empowered, Holy Spirit filled lives. As a body of believers, we strive to love God and live out that love through service and care for others. We are a diverse community of believers dedicated to bringing God’s Good News of Hope, Grace and Love through the blood of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
