What classes are available? |
We offer classes in Bible, theology, spiritual disciplines, spiritual gifts, worship, marriage, parenting, finances, leadership and more. Our classes vary in size and teaching style allowing for a variety of class style (small and interactive to large and lecture-based). As you learn, you meet other people and feel more Connected to the Fort Mill Church of God community. We offer classes for the beginner, like Bible Basics, and for the advanced student looking for fresh insight within God's word. A course catalog and schedule are available on this webpage. |
Who are the teachers? |
Our teachers consist of Pastors, Staff, and members who are highly knowledgeable. Many of them have Bible degrees or other formal training in the topics they teach. They welcome your questions and are accessible beyond the classroom. Their greatest desire is to help students grow in their relationship with Christ. |
When are classes offered? |
Weekly classes and monthly seminars are offered at various days/times. For information on a specific class, check the course description and the class calendar on the left margin. |
Do you offer childcare or children's programs? |
Childcare is provided through our Children's Ministry department on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings (Center for Discipleship, first floor).Be sure to check each class description to see if childcare is offered. All childcare workers are screened by our Children's Ministry staff. |
Is there a cost? |
Most classes do not have a cost (We do collect a voluntary offering at each class session to help underwrite the cost of our ministry).Special seminars and certain classes may have modest costs for registration and/or required curriculum.Be sure to check specific class information for complete details. |
Where can I get the class materials? |
Most classes will hand out the class materials during the first session (or each quarter for our continuing classes).Please indicate on your registration form if you desire to purchase materials and bring the required funds to the first session (if applicable). |
